In 2005 Arash Tagarian got his Bachelor degree in Fine Arts at AKV, Breda. His graduation film AUTUMN LEAVES premiered at The Dutch Film Festival that same year and was part of the IFFR Hotspots 2006, The International Art Film Festival and was shown on VPRO Dutch Television. His first short film PRIVACY won first prize at The AMNESTY International Film Festival, which he also co-directed with Mattijs. Arash was supported by The Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (FONDS BKVB) to continue his work and made ‘SOY’ which premiered at The Short Film Corner Cannes 2010.

In 2002 Mattijs Mollee got his Bachelor degree in Fine Arts at The HKU Faculty of Art, Media & Technology, Hilversum. His graduation film <UNTITLED> was nominated as one of three films for the prestigious KODAK STUDENT AWARD and was shown at the Dutch Film Festival. After that he went on to develop his storytelling abilities as a music-video director before moving to Commercials, Documentaries and Short Films. His style varies from comedy to drama, but always with an interest in the human condition. Apart from filmmaking Mattijs makes music as The Hardest Mile. He lives and works in Amsterdam.
